Our Service Navigator is here for the community to empower families to advocate for their children’s needs within the education system at Halton District School Board. We help equip families with knowledge about your rights, offers tools for effective self-advocacy, mental health support and access to resources, through up to five consultative sessions with the service navigator.

It details the swift intervention of the Muslim Advisory Council of Canada (MACC) in support of a Muslim woman harassed at a Fortinos in Burlington, Ontario. By advocating for institutional accountability, securing evidence, and collaborating with law enforcement, MACC ensured justice for the victim while fostering awareness and education to combat hate.
