On April 15, 2020, the Executive Director of the Muslim Advisory Council of Canada spoke to Matt Galloway of CBC The Current.

The topic was navigating grief through a pandemic. Tabassum lost her father-in-law mid-March 2020, a time when the world was rapidly changing. You can listen HERE, around the 54:00 mark:

...typically after funerals, friends and family come visit over the next little while. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we didn't get to see our family and friends after the funeral. It was important to us that everyone remain safe and practice social distancing. But we lost a family member and it's as though a rite of passage was skipped- It's been a very difficult time with the grieving process." -Tabassum Wyne, Executive Director of the Muslim Advisory Council of Canada
